Bird Watching along Henteleff Park Trails
Join us for an early morning bird watching adventure through Henteleff Park’s riverbank trails and tall grass prairie! Henteleff Park is where we first launched Trails Day celebrations in 2007 – and the Province of Manitoba proclaimed the first Saturday in June as Trails Day!
Henteleff Park, is an oasis of green space in Winnipeg! The Red River meanders alongside the Park and is the backdrop to a wondrous display of plant and animal species. Located in South St. Vital, across the river from the University of Manitoba, this remarkable piece of river-bottom forest is being preserved by the Henteleff Park Foundation so all can enjoy this unique jewel within our urban setting.
