Winnipeg Trails Association (WTA)
The Winnipeg Trails Association is a volunteer coalition of enthusiastic trail builders and users.For the past two years, we have been able to secure funding from the Provincial gov’t (Sustainable Development Innovation Fund) to secure a part time coordinator / manager. Regrettably, funding for this part time coordinator / manager for 2011 has now expired.
While there are many volunteers working to develop trails and improve connectivity in Manitoba – currently there are two employed staff one in a part time capacity within the Province of Manitoba & on full time within the City of Winnipeg focused on trail development & connectivity.
